My Return
I've been gone from this blog for a few years. I am no longer a "young buck". I'm now a man in his early 30s. I'm amazed by the fact that despite this blog laying dormant for several years, it's still been receiving a lot of views and comments.
So where have I been you might ask? I've been all over the world. I lived like a nomad. I just traveled. Part of being a single man who is fiscally responsible is that you can "disappear" for long periods of time, without a worry of how you will afford to live. I did this after I was unceremoniously dumped on my ass by my company a few years ago, despite being one of the few people who actually did hard work. They call it "downsizing", but that's just a kind word for fired. In a company that is almost 40% female, I find it odd that almost every one let go was a man. The HR departments, and their over-inflated staff remained, complete with superfluous salaries. Mostly women might I add, with the occasional flamboyant homosexual thrown in for "diversity". They are all there, filing and polishing their nails, gossiping and taking 2 hour lunches. Those people remained. The actual hardworkers (men) all got let go. Funny how that is. I'm not kidding, almost everyone let go was a man. That defies the law of statistics.
Anyway, while traveling, the last thing on my mind was blogging, or even using a computer, outside of basic email and checking my portfolio, bank statements etc. I plan to blog more on my travels, especially my eye opening stay in several African and South American countries. Europe is a wash. It's done, even Central and Eastern Europe. They are catching the "feminist bug". I did have a good time in Bratislava.
